American Grit Electric was founded in 2018 shortly after moving to Oklahoma from the Seattle, WA area. With over 30 years of combined experience, the owners, Derrick Roberts and James Tyson started the business intending to raise the standard for electrical contractors not only for their clients but for their employees as well. We spent many years as employees for the best electrical contractors in the Seattle area and vowed to make American Grit Electric the premier electrical contractor for the greater OKC area. We train our employees on all aspects of residential electrical work so they can become well rounded, knowledgeable, professional electricians that can handle any project our customers may have.
